What is AWS Class E2594T1-1/T1-4 Flux Core?
The AWS E2594T1-1/T1-4 flux-cored wires are made from super duplex stainless steel and contain around 25% chromium, 9–10% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and controlled nitrogen. This carefully balanced alloying results in a duplex microstructure that boasts very high tensile and yield strength along with excellent impact toughness. The weld metal produced offers remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
