What is AWS Class ERZR-4 MIG & TIG?
AWS Class ERZR-4 MIG & TIG welding wires are formulated for high-strength, corrosion-resistant welds. The typical chemical composition includes C: 0.08%, Mn: 1.0%, Si: 0.5%, Cr: 18–20%, Ni: 8–10%, Mo: 0.3%, providing excellent toughness and ductility. Mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of 580–620 MPa, yield strength around 400 MPa, and elongation of 30%. These characteristics ensure strong, clean welds with superior resistance to cracking and oxidation, making ERZR-4 ideal for stainless steel fabrication, piping, and structural applications.
