What is AWS Class ERTi-7 MIG & TIG?
AWS Class ERTi-7 MIG & TIG is a titanium alloy welding wire containing Ti-0.15Pd, offering excellent corrosion resistance, especially in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments. Its typical chemical composition includes Titanium (balance), Palladium (0.12–0.25%), with minimal oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and iron impurities. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of approximately 345 MPa, yield strength around 275 MPa, and elongation of 24% minimum. ERTi-7 combines superior weldability with outstanding resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for chemical processing, marine, and aerospace applications.
