What is Hastelloy® C-22®/122 Coated Electrodes?
Hastelloy® C-22®/122 Coated Electrodes feature a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy composition, typically containing Ni (balance), Cr (20–22%), Mo (12.5–14.5%), Fe (2–6%), W (2.5–3.5%), and small amounts of Co, Mn, and V. These elements provide outstanding resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments. The electrodes offer excellent mechanical properties, including tensile strength around 760 MPa, yield strength approximately 350 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. They ensure superior weld integrity, toughness, and corrosion resistance in severe chemical and marine applications.
